Virtually on first meeting Edie in March 1965, Warhol was hooked! Edie instantly became Warhol’s muse and just like a drug addiction he seemed dependent on Edie’s presence. Drawn to Edie’s charismatic, flamboyant, glamourous, extravagant, carefree, and gregarious personality – Edie was always the life of the party – and Warhol quickly became captivated.
